We specialize in pressure vessels, tray towers, autoclaves and quick opening closures and special non standard pressure vessel design. We hold the "U", "S" and "R" stamps.
Materials used in fabrication include carbon and stainless, Monel, Inconel, Hastalloy, explosion bonded cladding, and various other alloys.
APF uses Stick, MIG, TIG, Flux Core and Sub Arc (single & dual head). All welders are A.S.M.E. Code, Section 9 certified.
Quality Control - APF has a competent quality control department capable of devoting any degree of quality control necessary in meeting our customer codes and our own specifications.
As a fabricator who follows A.S.M.E. codes, we perform under a complete written quality control process from material receiving to shipment of the finished product.

Geographically, we are located in the heart of the steel manufacturing industry, with local resources such as: heavy plate rolling (up to 6 inches), all types of precision machine work (most of which is done in our own machine shop), large capacity heat treating (for tempering and normalizing), and all types of non-destructive testing.
We are located only one mile from an international airport and serve as a hub for truck, rail and river barge services.
